Beyond the Facade: Unveiling the Violence in Nigeria’s 'Peaceful' Presidential Elections - via CCIJ

I contributed to the data investigation into this story by using Google PinPoint, MuckRock and Google Sheets with my colleagues at the CCIJ as a data intern to provide background to the work of a team of incredible journalists working on the ground in Nigeria. We went through more than 2,000 documents to check reasons for polling unit cancellations in the Nigerian 2023 elections, fact-checked and analysed this data ready to be visualised.
